Two-factor authentication, a real premium tier, and friendlier error messages throughout the app.

Two-factor authentication (2FA): turn on an authenticator app (TOTP) and/or email codes from Settings, with one-time recovery codes generated as a backup. Login now walks you through a quick code step whenever 2FA is on.
Premium is coming: it unlocks a daily notification digest (weekly stays free for everyone), the full advanced stats section, calendar (iCal) export, and a couple of extra navigation styles. Nothing is taken away from free accounts — these are new capabilities layered on top.
Notification digests: instead of a push or email for every single new episode, you now get one digest at the cadence that suits you — weekly on the free plan, daily with premium — sent at your own local time.
Much richer detail pages: movies and series now show their native rating, tagline, director, and trailer; anime pages show the Japanese voice actor (clickable, with their own bio and role history) alongside the character, plus director, studios, and related titles; books show ISBN, series, first sentence, and links to Goodreads/LibraryThing/Amazon; games show franchise, age ratings, trailer and multiplayer modes.

Clearer error messages everywhere: instead of raw technical text, you now get a specific, translated message — and on forms, the exact field that needs fixing is flagged right under it.
Smoother animations: page transitions and modal pop-ins got a polish pass across the app.
Movie, anime and book pages now stay in your browsing language.
Anime cast now correctly shows the voice actor as the main entry (with the character underneath), matching how it already worked for live-action shows.
