Changelog

[BETA] Loomkeep 1.10.0

Make Loomkeep feel more like yours, with a customizable home page, richer libraries, and new ways to track your games and books.

✨ New

  • Arrange your home page with widgets you can move, resize and configure. Bring your favorites, lists, reading goal, quick search or a daily watchlist pick into view.
  • Log game and reading sessions with dates, time spent, notes and pages read. Use a timer, review your weekly activity, and keep separate playthroughs and rereads in your history.
  • Browse your libraries in table, poster wall or compact mode. Choose your table columns and edit status, ownership and ratings directly from a row.
  • Select several titles and update their status, ownership, favorites or lists together. Removing a selection gives you a moment to undo.
  • Save your favorite combinations of filters and sorting as named library views, and display one on your home page.
  • Add a title straight from a shared or pasted catalogue link, with a quick panel to choose its status and lists.
  • Italian is now available throughout the app, including emails, notifications and feeds.
  • Export your films and watchlist for Letterboxd, or your books for Goodreads and compatible StoryGraph imports. Review text is optional; private notes stay out.

🔧 Improvements

  • Choose your streaming services and viewing country in Settings. “Where to watch” highlights your services first while keeping other offers, including free and ad-supported options, visible.
  • The release calendar has a clearer weekly overview, filters, tonight’s episodes and an indication of how many episodes you have left to catch up on.
  • Mute new-episode alerts for individual series or anime without removing them from your calendar.
  • See the estimated time or pages remaining in your libraries, following your active filters and saved views.
  • Watch-time statistics now use individual episode lengths when available. Game pages also show IGDB’s estimated completion times.
  • Achievement tiers show how common they are among eligible members, with privacy safeguards for small groups.
  • Finishing a season now appears as its own milestone in the activity feed.
  • Large libraries load only the requested page, reducing the work needed to browse them.

🐛 Fixes

  • Improved keyboard navigation, focus handling, screen-reader information and layouts with long content across shared components.
  • Pasting a verification code with spaces now keeps every digit.

🏠 Self-hosting and administration

  • Invite people to a closed instance by email or through a shareable link with a limited number of places. Review, renew and revoke invitations from the admin panel.
  • Manage social features, gamification, registration, the public API and its request limits from the new instance settings page. Environment overrides remain visible and take priority.
  • Administrators receive an alert when a scheduled task starts failing and another when it recovers. The services page now covers more of the instance’s configuration.
  • A public moderation transparency page summarizes reports, outcomes and measures by year.

🔌 API and integrations

  • A new read-only public API lets your tools access your libraries, history, calendar, lists, statistics, reviews, profile, achievements, notifications and complete data export.
  • Create scoped personal API keys in Settings › Integrations, choose their expiry and revoke them individually or all at once. Expiry reminders help you keep integrations running.
  • On loomkeep.app, keys reported as exposed by GitHub’s secret scanning are automatically revoked, with an email and notification to their owner.
  • Subscribe to your own activity through an Atom feed.

📚 Documentation

  • The new docs.loomkeep.app brings together user guides, import instructions, account security, data exports, PWA installation, self-hosting and contribution information.
  • Explore the public API through an interactive reference with examples, authentication and quota guides, plus recipes for Homepage, Home Assistant, automatic backups and weekly digests.

Thanks for helping Loomkeep grow — we hope these additions make your next watch, playthrough or reading session even more enjoyable.
